A Typical Peer-led Meeting Agenda

No registration needed - just show up.

The 1st meditation will start promptly at 7.00pm (unless noted otherwise - see calendar), therefore please arrive up to 15-minutes before the start time.

    • From 6.45pm Tea and Welcome
    • 7.00pm Meditation (5 minutes)
    • 7.05pm Announcements and selection of tonight’s topic
    • 7.10pm Meditation on tonight’s chosen topic (10 minutes)
    • 7.20pm Sharing - discussion on tonight’s topic
    • 8.00pm Meditation (30 minutes)
    • 8.30pm Closing Dedication then tea and informal chat
    • 9.00pm Evening ends.

Meetings operate on an informal drop-in basis and are suitable for all levels of experience. 

What does it cost?

No fee - donations only.

There is no charge to attend these meditation meetings, you just need a desire to be free from the suffering of addiction. A donation towards the cost of room hire and refreshments would be welcome but is not compulsory (suggested £3 or concessions £2). No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

 

What to bring?

Seating is on chairs, dress comfortably. You may also want to bring a blanket or cushions for comfort.

If you would prefer to sit on the floor you will need to bring a cushion/mat or meditation stool with you. You may also want to bring a blanket or cushions for comfort.
